Librarians who Blog

Hello, I'm wondering what people's thoughts are on twittering reference questions. Do you think it breaks confidentiality? Is it ok as long as the patron is not identifiable from the info given? Any experience with this? How does admin look at it? Thanks for your feedback.

I think you need to be very careful about ever sharing specific reference interviews, especially in the electronic age. You might mask the identify of the client to others well, but the client might still recognize herself. Misunderstandings and hurt might result in the event she discovered her trust in her librarian was broken.
